Model C911DD-36 is designed for raccoon, woodchuck, opossum, rabbits and similar size animals. It weighs 14 lbs, is constructed of 1/2″ x 1″ wire mesh throughout the trap and measures 36L x 9W x 11H. This trap has two trap doors and is strong, reliable, durable, and requires little maintenance. It features super strong coil springs that power the trap doors. The doors lock into place which prevents animals from escaping, even if the trap is rolled over or flipped completely upside down. This trap is triggered by a swing bar wire trigger mechanism which allows you to capture the most trap shy animals and does not a have a trip pan for animals to avoid. I am a 10 year nuisance wildlife tech up here in Eastern Canada. Several years ago, I was on vacation in the US, and thought it would be a good chance to get a couple of these sets as I heard so much about them.. Jim and Judy worked hard to get these shipped to the nearest UPS store during my vacation. Worked perfectly. Now – about the traps.. Upside down, sideways, water, land, these are the catch all of catch all. they are perfect for raccoon, woodchuck, and skunk.. Never a misfire and have paid for themselves a hundred times over. Has withstood a bear assault with no damage. Strong, well built and reliable – I plan to get more when I am down next time. As well, Jim is always up for trapping discussion and offers advice for difficult situations.. Removed my need for bait and waits… Spend your trap money here!
