Mark recently texted us regarding his success using this wheel type set using 6 Comstock 9 x 11 x 36 cage traps. The ones in the photo are double door cages but the Rear Bait Door cages would work well too.
Mark stated ” This is fast becoming my favorite set for Raccoons. Six Comstock’s set back to back in a wheel configuration. Temporary fencing panels between the traps to direct them into the openings. The inner door on each trap is left closed. The majority of the bait is all the way at the back and a trail of small pieces lead through the trap. No bait outside the traps in the central circle. Four raccoons in the first night !! Not bad at all ! ” Mark feels when one raccoon is captures the others are curious and come to investigate, resulting in multiple catches at that one site.
