Today I made a very simple nose cone “double dock” for squirrels using the Comstock C6626. There was a flat surface on the facia with a hole the squirrels had chewed. I made a 7×7 dock out of a 30 inch piece of 1/2 x 1 in 14 gage wire to match the 6×6 traps. After cutting a hole in the back of the dock in the middle center, I screwed the dock onto the facia. The square tube would then accommodate 2 of the 6×6 double door cages. It was just a matter of setting the traps and sliding them into place. Realizing there was a possibility the traps might slide out of the dock if left to their own, I happened to have some small 1/4 rod T-bars that I was able to drop through the dock and cages to mate the two solidly together, done.
